1. E I IDR 4.300.000 99 Quality Management Operation Management 47 QUALITY MANAGEMENT Quality is a requirement that is demanded by consumers of a company or an organization. The tighter competition in business requires an organization/company to always improve its product/service quality within an optimum cost. Improving quality of product/service is everybody’s responsi - bility. Thus, it is highly necessary that an organization builds a comprehensive working culture and way of thinking about designing objectives and control of quality, and reduce process costs while at the same time improving customer satisfaction. Having attended this workshop, the participants are expected to: Basic TQM (Total Quality Management) Statistical process control Improvement process Cost reduction Understand the concept of quality that supports the organization/company’s objectives Understand the improvement process Understand how to improve the product/service quality produced by the organization Problems To Be Addressed Objectives . . . . Kualitas merupakan persyaratan yang dituntut konsumen dari perusahaan atau organisasi. Persaingan yang semakin ketat menuntut organisasi/perusahaan selalu meningkatkan kualitas barang/jasa yang dihasilkan dengan tingkat biaya yang optimum. Meningkatkan kualitas ini merupakan tanggungjawab seluruh bagian di dalam organisasi/perusahaan. Oleh karena itu perlu dibentuk suatu budaya kerja dan cara pikir terintegrasi di dalam organisasi mengenai tujuan dan kontrol kualitas, serta mengurangi biaya proses di dalam organisasi sekaligus meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen.
